Kevin Tate

Kevin Tate was the original Vice President and co-founder of SEEDS (Students and Educators for Ecological Design and Sustainability) on campus of the University of Georgia. He, along with David Schroeder, began the group as a way for students and teachers, from different schools and disciplines, to come together and discuss issues that related to our sustainable environment. It was this group’s philosophy, as well as discussions with Dean Jack Crowley, that helped create the new “College of Environment and Design”, which houses the School of Environmental Design and the Institute of Ecology under the same roof. SEEDS is still active on the campus of UGA

Kevin has lived and worked in the beautiful Western North Carolina Mountians for seven years. Otter and Arrow Land Planning is an extension of close-held beliefs about the interaction between elements of the man-made and natural world.
